From the very beginning, our workshops like Decoden Cream and Moru Doll were designed with children in mind. Bright colours, playful textures, and hands-on creativity made them perfect for kids’ parties — and over the years, we’ve had the joy of hosting countless children’s celebrations filled with laughter, imagination, and proud little creators.
But something interesting kept happening.
While the kids were busy crafting, adults would often pause, watch, and smile. Parents would ask questions, join in “just for a moment,” and before they knew it, they were fully immersed. Many of them would say the same thing: “I wish there was something like this for adults.”
That’s when it became clear to us — creativity doesn’t belong to one age group.
As adults, we don’t lose our creativity; we simply stop making space for it. Between busy schedules and daily responsibilities, opportunities to slow down and create with our hands become rare. Yet when adults do get the chance — whether it’s piping decoden cream or shaping a Moru Doll — the response is always the same: relaxation, connection, and genuine joy.
That’s why we’re expanding our craft experiences beyond kids’ parties and into celebrations for adults. From hens parties and bridal showers to meaningful get-togethers with friends, we believe hands-on crafting creates moments that feel personal, memorable, and deeply shared.
At Yi’s DIY Workshop, we believe creativity has no age limit. What started as children’s workshops has naturally grown into something bigger — a space where anyone, at any stage of life, can reconnect with creativity and celebrate through making.
