Our Capacity

Yi’s DIY Workshop is located in Balwyn, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Our colourful craft studio provides a welcoming space for children’s birthday parties, with prepared activity tables and a separate celebration period for food and birthday cake. Our studio can accommodate up to 30 children. For larger celebrations, school events or parties at another location, we also offer mobile craft workshops across Melbourne.

Yes we do, we charge $20 per estimated guest as a deposit to secure your spot.

Please let us know 7 days before the event. If there are any changes in the number of people after that, please contact us as soon as possible

To help the workshop run smoothly, all children attending the party are generally required to complete the same selected activity and item.

Yes. All completed crafts will be carefully packed for children to take home. Decoden creations should be allowed to air-dry for 7–14 days before use

If any guests do not show up on the day of the event, we will not provide a refund. The final charge will be based on the confirmed number of attendees. The final headcount cannot be changed within 24 hours before the party starts

Yes catering and balloon decorations are charged separately, please send us an email below to know more information. 

Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own food, snacks and birthday cake. Please also bring any plates, cups, napkins and serving utensils you require. We have a cake knife, lighter and small fridge available, but we do not have facilities for heating food.

Yes. You’re welcome to bring simple decorations such as tablecloths and balloons. You may arrive up to 15 minutes before the party to set them up.

Plan Your Kids Craft Birthday Party

Ready to plan a creative birthday celebration? Tell us your preferred date, number of guests and chosen craft activity, and our team will help you organise your kids craft birthday party at our Balwyn studio.

    Our Terms of Service PAYMENT POLICY: We charge a booking fee of $20 per estimated guest. No service will be secured or confirmed for the party date until the deposit is received. The booking fee is non-refundable within 7 days of the party.
