On 19 March 2026, we brought our Friendship Bracelet Bar to La Trobe University for Union Fest—and it became one of our busiest university activations yet.
During the three-hour event, nearly 200 students stopped by to create their own friendship bracelets. From the moment the activity began, the tables stayed full and the line barely stopped.
A Creative Friendship Bracelet Experience
Students could choose from a colourful selection of beads, letters and charms to design a bracelet that reflected their own style.
Some carefully planned their colour combinations, while others created matching friendship bracelets with friends. Each bracelet was different, making the activity feel personal, creative and meaningful.
Perfect for a Busy University Event
The Friendship Bracelet Bar worked especially well in a drop-in environment. Students could join at any time, select their materials and complete a bracelet within a short session.
The activity was easy to participate in and created a lively social space where students could relax, connect and make something to take home.
Although we were too busy to capture as many photos as we had hoped, the energy throughout the event was unforgettable. We loved seeing students return to show us their finished bracelet designs.
